Our laboratories tailor their services to ensure cost-effective, quick turnaround laboratory analysis without compromising quality and accuracy. Our UK HQ laboratory is accredited by UKAS to ISO 17025 standards.

All of our laboratories are strategically located to work together with international commerce and industry in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Ecuador, India, Kenya, Malaysia, Peru, Thailand, UAE, Ukraine and the UK. All of our chemists are fully qualified and highly experienced, and all laboratories have full sample preparation facilities for bulk samples.

Fully equipped purpose-built laboratories

Our metals and minerals laboratories are purpose built and fully equipped with traditional and modern instrumentation to provide fast, reliable and accurate results for:

• Commercial metal analysis for active mine production, including copper, lead and zinc.
• Metal refineries for end producers and commodity traders at the consumer end of the value chain, whether metals, minerals or agricultural commodities.
• Geochemical and environmental analysis for global and junior mining exploration companies, as well as mine audits for governments that require financial due diligence in emerging and developing countries.

Our aquaculture and agriculture laboratories carry out GAFTA and FOSFA-approved analysis on sealed shipping samples, contract and international reference samples for biomass, oils, fats, oilseeds, edible nuts, fatty acids, acid oils, distillates, animal feed, grain, wheat, rye, barley, oats, millet, peas, beans, soya, fish and food products. Our laboratories also provide analytical services and certification for food testing such as nutritional and calorific values, trace metal detections for animal feeds and biomass. Microbiological testing for major pathogenic and spoilage microorganisms is carried out in the UK and China. Services include processed cooked or uncooked meats, food, beverages and dairy products.

Our environmental laboratories work to ISO standards and report organic and non-organic parameters to ppm and ppb levels. Analysis includes waters and bacteria in water, pollutants, heavy metals, anions, seawater; soils and sewage treatment for heavy industry, environmentally sensitive mining projects and geological research and development projects.

All of our laboratories combine traditional wet chemistry methods with modern state-of-the-art laboratory instrumentation.
